WELCOME “BIEN VENUE’

Pictured are four students on exchange from Ecole Europeene de Strasbourg (European School of Strasbourg) France. Noemie Bachelet and Sophia Lenormand are both from France whilst Anne- Sophie Gangloff and Lara Ritter are from Germany. These students are being billeted with four of our own students so they can spend the next six weeks immersing themselves in school life at Mansfield High and enjoy the sights and sounds of Australia (Brisbane style). The girls are really enjoying the weather at present and have already had a taste of the Gold Coast including the Currumbin Sanctuary, the Sunshine Coast, Southbank, Brisbane and some of our hinterland. They are looking forward to visiting some of the ‘Worlds’ at the Gold Coast and
other wonders natural and otherwise particular to our area of Australia. They are looking forward to improving their English whilst with us. Between them they speak English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Latin...and a little bit of Chinese. Oh to be multi-lingual!
Wearing a school uniform is a whole new experience for these students!
